Are you an experienced Data Cable Installer looking for a contract role within a modern automotive manufacturing facility? This opportunity allows you to work on high-profile on-site projects delivering reliable structured cabling infrastructure.

As a Data Cable Installer, you will install and modify structured data cabling systems, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications. You will be responsible for installing cable containment systems, routing and terminating data and power cables, and ensuring all work meets recognised automotive and passive network standards.

You will test installations using FLUKE DSX-5000 equipment, diagnose faults using root cause analysis, and support wider site-based data projects. While fibre optic experience is not essential, any exposure to fibre termination, splicing, or testing would be considered a strong advantage in this Data Cable Installer role.

To be successful as a Data Cable Installer, you will hold relevant electrical regulations certification, site safety cards, and a MEWP licence, along with your own comprehensive tool kit. Previous experience in industrial or automotive environments and CCTV installations connected to corporate networks is highly desirable.
