Location: Isle of Arran
Electrician, Industrial, Manufacturing Site, Temp to Perm, £21.00 – £24.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, Overtime Available
Working Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* 40 hours per week with half-hour lunch
* £21.00 – £24.00 per hour
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain electrical systems and services across the site
* Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and fault finding
* Repair and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns throughout the facility
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment
* Install, commission, and modify plant equipment and services as required
* Maintain accurate maintenance and modification documentation
* Identify and report equipment faults or early signs of failure
* Follow safe isolation and permit-to-work procedures at all times
* Support other engineering tasks as directed by the Electrical Supervisor
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and engineering discipline
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
* Strong experience with cable containment systems
* Up-to-date IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
* Valid SJIB grade card
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work effectively within a team-based engineering environment
Desirable Skills & Training
* Comp Ex certification (training can be provided)
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (full training available)
We are recruiting an experienced Static Electrician for a temp-to-permanent role based at a large industrial/manufacturing facility. This is a site-based position offering stable hours, consistent work, and long-term career potential within a professional engineering environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and supporting electrical systems across a busy plant, working closely with a multi-skilled engineering team to ensure safe and efficient operations
