Industrial Door Engineer

Salary: 38,000 - 45,000 per year + overtime + benefits
Location: Manchester (field-based) - Full UK Driving Licence essential
Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a respected UK-wide provider of security, fire, industrial door, and access solutions, working across sectors such as education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and national infrastructure. They are known for delivering reliable, high-quality services that protect people, property, and businesses.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join their team, covering Manchester and surrounding areas.

• Install, service, maintain, and repair industrial, automatic, and pedestrian door systems

• Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics

• Complete planned maintenance and reactive call-outs

• Deliver a professional, customer-focused on-site service

• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation

• Accurately complete job documentation

• Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

• Hold or be willing to obtain a valid CSCS card

• Minimum 2+ years' experience with industrial and/or automatic doors

• Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel (approx. 75%)

• Strong Health & Safety awareness

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload effectively

• Desirable: Electrical qualifications, automatic door experience, access control knowledge

• Salary 38,000 - 45,000 (DOE)
