Qualified/Trainee Debt Adviser
Overview
Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove are currently seeking to recruit trainee or qualified Debt Advisers to join our thriving charity.
The purpose of the role is to provide tailored advocacy, advice and support to individuals and families struggling with debts, and to help them overcome and prevent similar situations in the future. This is a local service working with communities within Brighton & Hove.
Key responsibilities- Provide tailored advocacy, advice and support to individuals and families struggling with debt.
- Work within the local community to prevent falling into debt.
- Required specialist debt advice accreditation, or willingness to work towards this.
- Experience with a MaPS debt project and completed training to caseworker level is ideal.
This is a full‑time role, but part‑time hours could be considered for the right candidate.
