Position: Flexible Support Assistant
Location: Merley

Adult Services - Supporting Living, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole

Are you looking to make a difference in someone's life? Diverse Abilities offers you the opportunity to achieve this and is now recruiting for a Flexible Support Assistant to join our Supported Living Service.

Hours:

Part- time and full-time hours available (16 – 48 hours) Rota 4-6 weeks in advance planned with you and around your availability.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place during the weeks commencing 3rd and 10th of August

Diverse Abilities are looking for people to support individuals in their homes in Supported Living. This role will work flexibly across various Supported Living homes to ensure we are offering exceptional support to all the individuals being supported.

This role requires staff to:

You will be expected to provide an excellent level of support and care

Assist/administer medication in line with Diverse Abilities’ policy and training

Be flexible to work across all services

Work split shifts in line with your rota schedule to fulfil your contract.

Essential skills required:

Keeps to commitments; completes work in a timely & consistent manner.

Able to express ideas effectively; organises and delivers information appropriately; actively listens.

Provide personal care with dignity and respect for the person supported

Attend all training courses and be accountable for your own learning and personal development
