Support Worker - 02​/Dalry​/WJ

you will be required to apply for the pvg process with disclosure scotland.

you must pay for this and once completed you will be reimbursed the cost in your first pay.

an upbeat and personable young man requires some support to access his local community and to tap into his own hobbies intrests and needs.

the young man would welcome someone who can support and encourage him to enagae with activities in his local surroundings and at times, a little further afield.

the young man sits on the spectrum and can at times become anxious. A workers experience of reducing anxiety and supporting the young man to reason would be really advantageous.

the main this intrests are walking at good pace, going for a cuppa and he has a great afinity with animals and loves an animal park. Gardening is a new intrest and the young man would like to perhaps further support and encouragement in this activity. Music is a love and the young man has access to a local commnuity rock choir.

as a support to this young man you should be able to encourage him when needed, support him to access new local events, have a good level of energy to support on walks and be able to ease his anxieties if they arise. You will require some level of flexibility in this role and be able to accommodate change that may happen from time to time.

He loves chatting and being seen as part of his local community.
