Housing Support Worker - Housing
We are looking for a Housing Support Worker to join Threshold and help us with our mission to end homelessness by supporting people towards independence.
About the roleThis is a frontline Intensive Housing Management role within Threshold's supported housing team.
You will manage a caseload of up to 20 residents, ensuring that their accommodation is safe, well managed and compliant with their licence agreements.
You will undertake property inspections, manage breaches, coordinate voids, maintain accurate housing records and work with residents to sustain their accommodation.
You will be responsible for the delivery of an effective, high-quality, person-centred support service to service users with a background of homelessness and a range of needs. These include entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health issues and a range of offending backgrounds.
This role provides support to service users and promotes their engagement through the development of positive relationships and providing support to move towards independence.
