We are looking for an experienced Frontend Magento 2 Developer with strong Hyvä theme expertise to help build, maintain, and optimise high-performance eCommerce platforms. You’ll work closely with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver fast, accessible, and scalable Magento storefronts.

This role is hands-on and suited to someone who genuinely cares about performance, clean frontend architecture, and modern Magento best practices.

• Build and maintain Magento 2 storefronts using Hyvä
• Develop clean, reusable UI components using Tailwind CSS & Alpine.js
• Translate designs (Figma / Adobe XD) into high-quality frontend implementations
• Optimise frontend performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, CLS/LCP/INP)
• Work with Magento layout XML, PHTML templates, and View Models
• Integrate frontend work with Magento backend modules and APIs
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behaviour
• Follow Magento and Hyvä best practices for security and performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend standards

• Strong commercial experience with Magento 2
• Hands-on Hyvä theme experience
• Excellent knowledge of:
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • Tailwind CSS
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Alpine.js
• Magento frontend concepts:
  • Layout XML
  • PHTML templates
  • View Models
• Performance-focused development mindset
• Experience working in Git-based workflows (PRs, code reviews)
• Comfortable working independently on complex frontend tasks

• Experience migrating Luma themes to Hÿvä
• Familiarity with Magento caching (Varnish, Redis, Full Page Cache)
• Knowledge of Hyvä Checkout customisation with Mage Wire
• Understanding of CSP and security headers
