Salary
Salary: £55,000 - £95,000 per year
Requirements- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification is essential.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) and Platform App Builder certification.
- Proven experience in Salesforce development and engineering, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
- Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, security model, and performance optimisation.
- Desirable experience with Marketing Cloud, Azure services, and data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and optimise solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop and test Salesforce solutions using declarative tools and programmatic approaches such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Build customised applications on the platform to solve complex business challenges.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Support decisions on using out-of-the-box functionality versus custom development.
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and licence allocation.
- Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and automation flows.
- Monitor platform health, usage, and limits and proactively address issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, including configuration, data models, and integration architecture.
- Support environment and release management, including sandbox strategy and deployment processes.
- Participate in agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex issues escalated from support teams.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Embed GDPR and internal data protection policies into development and configuration activities.
- Conduct periodic audits and access reviews to maintain compliance.
- Promote Salesforce best practices and innovative use cases across the organisation.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
