Salary

Salary: £55,000 - £95,000 per year

• Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification is essential.
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) and Platform App Builder certification.
• Proven experience in Salesforce development and engineering, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
• Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, security model, and performance optimisation.
• Desirable experience with Marketing Cloud, Azure services, and data pipelines.

• Design, develop, and optimise solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Develop and test Salesforce solutions using declarative tools and programmatic approaches such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
• Build customised applications on the  platform to solve complex business challenges.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Support decisions on using out-of-the-box functionality versus custom development.
• Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and licence allocation.
• Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and automation flows.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and limits and proactively address issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, including configuration, data models, and integration architecture.
• Support environment and release management, including sandbox strategy and deployment processes.
• Participate in agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex issues escalated from support teams.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across Salesforce and integrated systems.
• Embed GDPR and internal data protection policies into development and configuration activities.
• Conduct periodic audits and access reviews to maintain compliance.
• Promote Salesforce best practices and innovative use cases across the organisation.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Support user adoption through technical enablement and creation of knowledge resources.
