Services Developer

Build the services that power better pet care! At Pets at Home , were transforming how we deliver care to pets and their owners through smart, scalable technology. As a Services Developer , youll play a key role in building the service and API layer that underpins our digital ecosystem, working in Agile teams to design, develop and deliver high-quality solutions that make a real difference.

The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire. What youll be doing:
Designing & building robust services and APIs to solve business challenges Creating reusable components to accelerate future development Developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests (TDD where possible) Collaborating with Product Owners and Stakeholders to shape and prioritise features Contributing across the full Agile lifecycle, from backlog refinement to demos and retrospectives Working with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver seamless solutions Maintaining clear, effective technical documentation What youll bring:
Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core and C# Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure preferred) Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and API design Experience working in Agile environments A customer-first mindset with a focus on outcomes Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to have:

Experience with TDD, CI/CD and Azure Dev Ops Knowledge of SQL / No
