European Road Freight Coordinator

Are you a highly organised, proactive operations professional with experience in European freight? Our client is looking for a European Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic Operations team in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end shipment management while working closely with customers, suppliers, and transport partners.

European Road Freight Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:
As a European Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring shipments run smoothly from start to finish. Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing all aspects of import and export shipping across multiple modes of transport
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and agents to keep shipments on track and meet requirements
• Preparing accurate quotes, costing, and invoicing
• Ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
• Maintaining strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to drive efficiency and business growth
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to process enhancements within the team

Who You Are:

• Experienced in coordinating European shipments (import/export)
• Knowledgeable in working with transport companies, agents, and freight forwarders
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong communicator who can build and maintain relationships across all stakeholders
• A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
