Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our Grain & Ingredient Marketing Team! This position is full-time, working out of the Hensall location. The Coordinator of Dispatch is responsible for coordinating all Ag product transportation activities to ensure products are picked up and delivered to the appropriate locations in a timely and efficient manner.

Coordinate and schedule all Ag product pickups and deliveries to elevators, customers, and other designated locations

Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers involved in grain transportation

Maintain accurate transportation records, including load documentation, delivery confirmations, and paperwork

Communicate closely with the Grain Logistics Lead to align transportation logistics with grain sales, contracts, and inventory needs

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient grain movement

Schedule pickups and deliveries with customers and grain facilities, addressing special requirements for each load

Coordinate with outside carriers and vendors as needed to meet transportation demands

Monitor dispatch and tracking systems to track driver locations and load status

Review daily truck reports and related documentation for accuracy and completeness

Answer phones and respond to customer, driver, and internal inquiries related to grain transportation

Strong organizational and scheduling skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working knowledge of transportation logistics, preferably in grain or agricultural operations

Familiarity with driver hours‑of‑service regulations and dispatch systems is preferred

Proficient with computer systems and record keeping

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in an agricultural field is an asset

Education in a logistics related program is an asset

1‑year previous experience in a similar position
