7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) Multidrop Deliveries

We are recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver to carry out multidrop deliveries across Shropshire and Mid Wales.

This role requires a strong ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle (C1) safely

• Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive

• Complete multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential premises

• Carry out vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements and report defects

• Load and unload goods safely, following manual handling and health & safety regulations

• Ensure loads are secured correctly at all times

• Use tachograph equipment correctly and maintain accurate records

• Complete delivery paperwork and/or electronic Proof of Delivery (POD)

• Provide a professional, customer-focused service at each delivery point

• Communicate effectively with transport planners regarding delays or issues

Essential Requirements

• Valid Driver CPC

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Good knowledge of UK road networks (Shropshire & Mid Wales preferred)

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties

• Strong time management and communication skills

Desirable

• Previous multidrop delivery experience

• Familiarity with rural and narrow-road driving
