Location: Lostwithiel

GI Group is currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for our internationally recognized client in Cornwall (PL26). The company provides courier services worldwide, specialising in the express road‑based market with delivery, freight forwarding and logistics services. They operate in numerous countries and are known for their technology, customer service and commitment to sustainability.

Shifts

Class 1 Drivers – afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis.
Monday to Friday.
Weekend work is optional.
Average 12‑hour shift.

Pay & Benefits

Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay).
Saturday: £26.35 per hour.
Sunday: £29.41 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle checks.
Trunking work to depots.
Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK.
Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

Requirements

Presentable appearance, eye for detail and positive attitude.
No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes.
Valid, up‑to‑date tachograph and CPC.
Good customer service skills.
Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
