CPL is a leading audio-visual company based in the Midlands, providing professional AV equipment and technical support for events across the UK. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Van Driver to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment.

While the hours can be demanding during peak periods, we believe in rewarding commitment and ensuring time-off is fairly balanced. The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work paid as overtime.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible can-do attitude, the ability to work well under pressure and the desire to work as part of a collaborative team to help us deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery and collection of AV equipment to client sites across the UK
  • Plan efficient routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
  • Record daily, weekly, monthly mileage as well as fuel usage
  • Update delivery/collection records and obtain confirmation from clients
  • Uphold standards of personal presentation and dress to clients
  • Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they are accurate

Part of this role will be to load and unload vehicles, therefore the ability to complete heavy manual handling within strict health and safety guidelines will be essential.

Job Requirements
  • Applicants must be over 25 (insurance requirement)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours as required.
  • UK driving licence
