HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday: 6am until finish Occasional Saturdays as the business needs Rates of pay:
Basic: £16.00 - £16.50 per hour Benefits include:

Day to day duties :
As a HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Delivering customer's orders in a timely and accurate manner Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently to various locations Building a good relationships with colleagues and customers Accurate delivery of customer's orders Handball deliveries so you must be physically fit due to manual handling demands Daily vehicle checks to ensure DVSA compliance and roadworthiness Compliance with safe systems of work Be trustworthy and reliable Essential skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Must be reasonably physically fit as handball involved Desirable experience:
Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training:
