Join us and build your career with a company that's forward‑thinking, supportive, and focused on excellence. About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in the smooth, efficient movement of palletised freight across our network. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating a curtain‑side trailer to trunk palletised goods. Providing internal trunking support where required, including accurately verifying freight against the manifest at each depot stop. Taking advantage of opportunities to gain additional certifications, including LST (Longer Semi-Trailer) during your employment. Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and protected, using straps, nets, and other appropriate securing equipment. Completing daily vehicle safety checks via your company mobile device to maintain the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Team, keeping them updated on progress and helping ensure excellent customer service. Attending ongoing training and development sessions to stay up to date with industry standards and best practice. Essential

Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player.
