Are you a skilled HGV driver looking for your next role with a well-established Glasgow business? We’re looking for a dependable, professional HGV Driver to join us on a temporary basis, carrying out multi-drop deliveries across the local area.
About Us
Clyde Paper & Print is a family-owned business based in Glasgow, supplying digital printing papers, corporate print and luxury presentation packaging to clients across the UK. We’ve been going since 1977 and our team takes real pride in the service we provide. Based near the River Clyde, our 22,000 sq. ft. warehouse is a busy, friendly environment where everyone plays an important part.

The Role
This is a straightforward driving role focused on multi-drop deliveries. You’ll be out on the road delivering office paper and related products to our customers, and will be expected to assist with loading and unloading. The products are manageable in weight – think reams and boxes of office paper – so you’ll need to be physically capable but this isn’t heavy haulage.
You will:
 
* Drive our HGV safely and professionally to deliver and collect goods on multi-drop routes
 
* Complete all driver documentation, tachograph records and daily vehicle checks
 
* Assist with loading and unloading at each delivery point (office paper and similar products manageable weights)
 
* Represent Clyde Paper & Print professionally with every customer you meet
What We’re Looking For
 
* Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence essential
 
* Aged 25 or over essential (insurance requirement)
 
* Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card essential
 
* Clean or near-clean driving licence
 
* Previous HGV driving experience in a commercial setting
 
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (loading and unloading at delivery points)
 
* Reliable, punctual and a great team player
 
* Forklift licence a bonus, but not essential

Hours
Flexible start times available (e.g. from 7:00am) – Mon–Thu 06:30–16:00 | Fri 06:30–15:00 (30 mins unpaid lunch)

Contract
Temporary – Start ASAP, finishing 23rd July 2025, with potential for ad-hoc days thereafter
