Inspect and Collect Driver

Woodside Motor freight has a reputation for market‑leading quality, compliance and efficiency. We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspect and Collect driver to join our specialist Motor freight division operating from our Ballynure Head Office, serving the motor industry, including manufacturers, dealer networks, auction houses and end users throughout the UK & Ireland.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to build a long‑term career in the driving and logistics industry and is keen to develop their skills through further training and qualifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while working towards progression into Category C and CE driving roles.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong attention to detail, confidence in using smartphones and digital technology, and a commitment to working safely, reliably, and responsibly. We are looking for someone who embraces learning and development opportunities, has a positive, can‑do attitude, and is eager to broaden their driving skills and advance their career.

To ensure all paperwork and electronic documentation is completed accurately, including additional vehicle condition reports, signed by the relevant parties in the appropriate places, and submitted where necessary; this includes the use and management of a handheld electronic device.

You will inspect thoroughly all vehicles for damage, wear and tear, mileage and shortages, and make notations on the relevant paperwork. You will then ensure that damage is countersigned by the contact person at the collection point.

You may, on occasion, be required to prepare demonstration vehicles for delivery to customers. This will include washing the exterior of vehicles, cleaning the interior, and fuelling if required.

Basic – £13.15 per hour

Overtime Sat – £15.32 per hour

Overtime Sun – £20.06 per hour

Previous experience working within the motor industry eg. sales, body work, in‑car infotainment systems.
