Larkspur Recruitment is currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Long Wheelbase (LWB) Delivery Driver to join a leading courier within the locker industry.
Based from our depot in Aylesham, near Canterbury, you will play an important role servicing locker locations across the Folkestone area, ensuring parcels are collected and replenished safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long‑term, consistent work with early finish times once fully trained.
Please note:
due to the location of our depot, applicants must have their own transport to travel to and from work.
- £130 per day, with no van rental charges.
- Company Long Wheelbase (LWB) van provided, including all required insurance.
- Heavily discounted fuel card available, with fuel costs deducted from your weekly invoice.
- No upfront vehicle or fuel costs.
- Weekly payments (your first payment is made three weeks after your first working week, then paid weekly thereafter).
- Monday – Friday working only, with immediate starts available.
- Full training provided, with your daily workload increased gradually as you build confidence and experience.
- Ongoing support from an experienced management team and consistent long‑term work.
Your day will begin at our depot in Aylesham at 5:00 am, where you will load your vehicle before heading out to service approximately 34 locker locations throughout the Folkestone area.
This is a physically demanding role where you will handle approximately 800–1,000 parcels throughout the day. As you become familiar with the operation, most drivers finish between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm before returning to the depot.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a company Long Wheelbase (LWB) van.
- Service locker locations throughout your allocated area.
- Load, unload and handle high volumes of parcels.
- Complete collections and replenishments accurately.
- Use handheld scanning equipment and delivery applications.
- Return collected parcels to the depot.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Represent the courier professionally at all times.
- A full UK manual driving licence held for at least two years.
- Aged 21 or over (insurance purposes).
- No more than six live penalty points and no major driving endorsements.
- Access to a smartphone.
- Ability to pass a basic DBS check.
- A UTR number, or willingness to register as self‑employed.
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role.
Previous courier, logistics or multi‑drop experience is preferred but not essential.
