Class 1 Multidrop Driver Nights - Newly Qualified Drivers Welcome to Apply.

Location:

Bury St Edmunds. Shift times:
Midnight starts till 8am. Pay Rate: £17.73 per hour.

Contract:

Temp to Perm.

• Full-time Class 1 Night Driver role at the site in Bury St Edmunds on a temp to perm basis.
• Deliver various products to clients; handball items off as required; use a pallet truck where needed; on occasion a client may use their FLT to unload to ease the day.
• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites with one collection; typically 12-14 drops across East Anglia (areas within similar postcodes).
• Safely operate the vehicle adhering to business standards.
• When a customer forklift driver is unavailable, use a pallet truck to unload pallets from the trailer.
• Use handheld scanner and complete relevant paperwork.
• Carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

• Multidrop experience is required.
• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• No more than six penalty points; no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• ADR preferred but not essential.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
