HGV Class 1 Driver (LGV C+E) - Nights & Weekends

Location: Nottingham (NG90)
Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Work / Flexible Shifts

• HGV Class 1 Day Driver: £15.40 per hour
• HGV Class 1 Night Driver: £16.40 per hour
• Weekend HGV Driver: £20.70 per hour
• Overtime (after 9.6 hours):
  • £23.10 per hour (days)
  • £24.46 per hour (nights)
• Guaranteed minimum: 9.6 hours per shift

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers (LGV C+E Drivers) for ongoing work with a leading pharmaceutical distribution company in Nottingham (Beeston area).

This role is ideal for experienced drivers or newly qualified HGV drivers looking for reliable, well-paid Class 1 driving work in Nottingham
.

• Completing 1-3 drops per shift (multi-drop HGV driving)
• Driving Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles (no heavy lifting or handballing required)
• Carrying out vehicle checks and trailer inspections
• Ensuring load security and compliance
• Communicating with the transport and logistics team
• Following tachograph regulations and driver hours rules
• Completing delivery paperwork and debriefs

• Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Digital tachograph card (Digi card)
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred
  , but newly qualified HGV drivers welcome (assessment required)
