Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Trunking work – Curtain Sider vehicles (Minimal Manual Handling)

Pay Rate: £18.74–£21.00 per hour (basic £18.74 + £2.26 holiday pay = £21.00)

Shifts:

7‑day working operation – start times from 17:00

We are recruiting professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client in Rugby.

• Class 1 trunking work between distribution centres (DC to DC)
• Operating curtain‑sided trailers
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Delivering goods safely, professionally and on time
• Following all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

Note:

A driving assessment may be required before your first shift.

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• Valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Up to 6 penalty points may be accepted; applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements are not accepted
• Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel to and from the site independently
• Visa sponsorship or relocation support cannot be offered
