Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to join their team based in Quarrington.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering stable, long-term employment, consistent weekday hours and a great work-life balance. You'll play an important role in maintaining clean and safe environments by operating a road sweeper vehicle to the highest standards.

• £15.50 per hour
• Guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• No weekend working as standard
• Full PPE and uniform provided
• Ongoing training and development

As a Road Sweeper Driver, you'll be responsible for operating a specialist road sweeper vehicle safely and efficiently while ensuring the site remains clean and well maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a road sweeper vehicle across designated routes and work areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
• Completing vehicle inspection reports and route documentation accurately
• Working safely and complying with all transport, road traffic and health & safety regulations
• Providing a professional and courteous service while representing the company
• Supporting the wider transport and depot team when required

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous road sweeper experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Good understanding of driver compliance and vehicle defect reporting
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
