HGV Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver

Role Description The HGV Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver is a full-time role based in Curdworth. The driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, loading ready-mixed concrete at the plant, and delivering it to construction sites across the region. Daily tasks include conducting pre- and post-journey vehicle checks, following planned routes, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while complying with all road traffic and site safety regulations.

The role involves controlling the discharge of concrete, assisting site teams with positioning the chute, and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment. The driver also completes delivery documentation, communicates with dispatch and customers, and supports a professional, customer-focused service.

Qualifications/Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) license, CPC qualification, and a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Good knowledge of UK road regulations, health and safety practices, and safe manual handling techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, and communicate clearly with dispatchers, site managers, and colleagues.
• Previous experience in concrete delivery, construction, or related transport roles is advantageous
