HGV Class 2 Driver

Are you a Class 2 driver looking for something different? At Blade Access, we're not looking for someone who simply wants to drive a truck from A to

B. We're looking for people who want to become specialist Driver/Operators . As a Blade Driver/Operator, you'll drive one of our specialist truck-mounted access platforms to customer sites across the UK, safely position and set up the machine, and operate it to provide customers with safe access to work 'll be driving some of the most specialist access equipment in the UK with Blade's fleet ranging from compact truck-mounted platforms to machines capable of working at heights exceeding 100 metres.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? Your day-to-day role will include:
Driving a specialist HGV-mounted access platform to customer sites. Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks. Completing site-specific safety checks and documentation. Safely positioning and setting up the platform. Operating the platform in accordance with your training and company procedures. Working directly with customers and site teams. Providing a professional and reliable service on site. Maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Looking after your vehicle and equipment. Representing Blade Access professionally at every site. THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER HGV JOB At Blade, you'll develop specialist skills that set you apart from a conventional HGV driver. You'll become part of a team operating specialist powered access equipment for customers across construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, energy, events and many other sectors. Blade's operated truck-mounted platform service is delivered by directly employed operators, giving customers the confidence that their equipment is being operated by trained professionals.

We're looking for people who are: HGV Class 2 licensed Safety-conscious Reliable and professional Comfortable working at height Customer-focused Mechanically minded Willing to learn Confident working independently Able to work as part of a team Proud of the equipment they operate Previous powered access experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate. We're interested in people with the right attitude who want to learn and develop into specialist Driver/Operators.
