HGV Class 2 Driver

* Swift Fuels are a fuel distribution company based in Downpatrick Co Down. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to our domestic and commercial customers. The role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes efficiently.

* Key Responsibilities
* * Operate road fuel tankers for the safe delivery of goods to various locations.

* Plan and manage delivery routes to optimise efficiency and minimise delays.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, and delivery receipts.

* Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

* Adhere to all company policies, traffic and safety regulations while on the road.

* This role does involve a level of physical aptitude.

* Requirements
* * Previous HGV experience desirable.

* ADR experience is advantageous but not essential. Full training can be provided to successful applicants if necessary.

* A valid clean Class2 driving licence and a full valid CPC

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently is required.

* Sound communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

The ideal candidate will be a well-presented team player with a strong work ethic, who can conduct themselves in a professional manner.
