Hat Hats Coffee Company, Kent | £12.95 an hour (a bit more for the hours you spend towing our trailer to events, if you can)

Hat Hats started as a little coffee van in Whitstable back in 2015 and has grown into a multi-site coffee business across Kent. We've built it without outside investment, just hard work and good coffee. We're still growing, with a fledgling vending network expanding across the county and new sites in the pipeline. We're a hands-on business, and we're looking for someone who wants to join our central ops team and help things run smoothly, not just clock in.

This is a warehouse role first. You'll be the person making sure stock comes in, gets checked and gets put away properly, and that the space itself stays organised and safe to work in. Driving is part of the job too: you'll step in as backup when the team needs an extra driver. When it comes to our vending machines out on site, we'll train you from scratch on filling them and basic maintenance.

No two days will be the same, but you could be doing any of the following:

Signing for, counting and putting away deliveries, some big, some awkward

Keeping the space tidy, organised and safe to work in

Picking and preparing stock ready for drivers the next day

Picking up small maintenance jobs around site, like changing light bulbs

Helping move bigger items when something needs shifting, such as a coffee machine

Supporting events with stock and equipment when needed

Driving between our sites when stock needs moving, and helping the company run smoothly

Stepping into a driver route when the team needs extra cover

Restocking vending machines that fall outside the normal driver routes

Vending machine care and maintenance: we'll train you to spot common faults on our machines and carry out simple fixes

Supporting the general upkeep of machines out on site

No prior vending or engineering experience is needed, just a willingness to learn.

Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving stock

Reliable, and happy working independently once you know the ropes

Flexible on hours, with a mix of early starts and standard days, plus the odd weekend for events

Bonus points if you can tow. There's a bit extra in it for you when you tow our events trailer to an event. Towing isn't a requirement of the job, though, so if you can't tow, that's fine.

£12.95 an hour, with a small increase for towing when it's needed and you're able to do it.
