We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Barnsley for experienced Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals with previous warehouse or picking experience, particularly those familiar with handheld scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking orders using a handheld scanner
- Locating stock within the warehouse and accurately selecting items
- Delivering picked items to the correct drop-off location
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Supporting general warehouse and housekeeping duties
- Demonstrating flexibility to work across different departments when required
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is essential
- Experience using scanning equipment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
