Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join their busy distribution centre in Swindon. Working within a busy distribution centre, you'll carry out physical stock checks and warehouse audits to ensure products are accurately recorded before they leave the site. You'll identify discrepancies, investigate issues and help maintain the high standards expected throughout the operation.

This is an active, hands-on role where accuracy, organisation and teamwork are just as important as experience.

Carrying out physical stock checks on pallets, cages and trailer loads

Checking outbound deliveries against paperwork

Verifying inbound deliveries and identifying discrepancies

Recording audit results accurately

Reporting stock issues promptly and professionally

Supporting stock accuracy and continuous improvement

Following all health and safety procedures

Working towards daily quality and productivity targets

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse environment and takes pride in delivering accurate work.

You'll ideally have:

Previous warehouse experience, including stock control, goods in, dispatch, picking, packing or stock checking

Excellent attention to detail

Good numerical skills

Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge

Good communication skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Be aged 18 or over

37.5 hours per week

30-minute unpaid break each day

Five days from seven

Eight-hour shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm

Ambient warehouse environment

25,447.50 annual salary
