Warehouse Operative - Picker​/FLT

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit an experienced FLT / Warehouse Operative to work with our client based in YO26
.

The site is conveniently located and offers excellent access from York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Wetherby and the surrounding areas

• Receiving deliveries and checking goods for damage or missing items.
• Safely storing stock within the warehouse.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Operating a Forklift Truck to move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Completing stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Updating stock information using computerised systems.
• Assisting with deliveries, stock transfers and product refurbishment.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Following Health & Safety, manual handling and environmental procedures at all times.
• Supporting the warehouse team to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the site.

• Holds a valid FLT Licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to support the wider warehouse operation.

• 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility required to meet business needs.
