We're recruiting on behalf of a leading builders' merchants distribution centre in Doncaster for a Yard/FLT Operative to join their busy and hardworking team.

If you enjoy hands-on work, don't mind working outdoors, and have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (valid In-house can be accepted), this is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position with a well-established business.

• £12.71 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday - No weekends!
• Working hours:
  
  7:00am - 5:00pm

This is a busy, physically demanding position where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in keeping the yard running efficiently, ensuring stock is safely handled and customer orders are prepared for dispatch.

• 70% manual yard duties
• 30% Counterbalance FLT operation

• Loading and unloading delivery wagons
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Moving building materials around the yard and warehouse
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised
• Carrying out general yard maintenance and housekeeping
• Working safely and following Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Supporting colleagues to ensure daily workload is completed

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (in-house licences accepted if still valid)
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Happy carrying out physically demanding manual work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good awareness of health and safety
