• Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and match the accompanying documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, utilizing inventory management software to track items and monitor usage trends.
• Organize and store products in a systematic manner to maximize space efficiency and facilitate easy access for team members.
• Prepare and package outgoing orders for delivery, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and accounted for.
• Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies, taking corrective action as necessary.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate the timely delivery of materials and supplies, ensuring operational needs are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area, adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Provide support during stock takes and assist in the training of new staff members in inventory management practices.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding order statuses, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise.
• Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
• Monitor the condition of stored items and report any damages or concerns to management promptly.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably in a similar role, is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management and order fulfillment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• A valid forklift license is preferred, with a commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items safely as required by the role.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and external partners.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative in improving processes.

• Experience with supply chain management or logistics would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, enhancing your ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance practices for warehouse equipment.
• Certification in first aid or health and safety training is a plus.
