Team Leader, Warehouse

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to join our client in Birmingham. A successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team within a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

A key requirement for this role is previous experience working with Auto Store systems, enabling you to support daily operations, drive efficiency, and help maximise the performance of our automated warehouse solution.

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.
• Oversee the efficient use and operation of the Auto Store system.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to warehouse processes.
• Conduct team briefings, training, and performance reviews.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service levels.
• Work closely with management to deliver operational objectives and KPIs.

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Hands-on experience using and working with Auto Store systems.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Experience with in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and perform under pressure.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• 10am until 6pm
• Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
