Warehouse Operative

One of our clients in a leading and rapidly expanding distribution company is actively looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy fulfillment center. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a secure, well-established business that values its team and offers excellent earning potential through overtime.

We are seeking energetic Warehouse Operatives to play a crucial role in the smooth running of the supply chain. You will be part of a fast-paced and friendly team responsible for ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners.

• Safely load and unload delivery vehicles and shipping containers.

• Sort, check, and correctly store incoming goods in the designated warehouse locations.

• Palletize and wrap goods securely for outward transport.

• Operate manual handling equipment (e.g., pump trucks, PPTs).

  Forklift (FLT) licenses are a bonus but not essential.

• Conduct basic stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Shift Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, strictly adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent timekeeping skills.

• A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling, lifting, and spending time on your feet.

• High attention to detail to ensure picking and packing accuracy.

• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a large team.

• Flexibility to work shift patterns (e.g., Earlies, Lates, or Nights).
