Join Our Warehouse Team!

We are looking for a reliable, hard working and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team in Milverton
.

This is a hands-on role within a warehouse and production environment. You will play an important part in ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently.

The role also offers the opportunity to learn new skills and be trained to operate warehouse machinery and milling equipment
, giving the right candidate the chance to develop within the business.

Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

  • Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
  • Moving and storing herbs and other products safely
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Checking product quantities, labels and batch information
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and hygienic Following health & safety procedures at all times
  • Using warehouse machinery and equipment safely and correctly
  • Receiving training to operate milling machines and other production equipment
  • Assisting with milling and production processes once fully trained
  • arrying out cleaning and basic housekeeping around machinery and work areas
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual and hard working
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical/manual work
  • A positive team player
  • Able to follow instructions, procedures and safety guidelines
  • Well organised and willing to learn
  • Interested in learning to operate machinery
  • Able to drive and hold a valid driving licence

Previous warehouse or machinery experience is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided for the right person.

Training & Development

As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to be trained on a range of warehouse and production equipment
, including the company's milling machines
.

You will receive appropriate training before operating machinery independently, with an emphasis on safe working practices, quality and following operating procedures
.

This makes the position ideal for someone who wants to develop their skills and take on additional responsibilities within a warehouse and production environment.
