Stocks and Logistics Operative - Fresh/Frozen Fish Factory

Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00 (full‑time, day shift)
We are looking for a Stocks and Logistics Operative to join a busy fresh and frozen fish factory. You'll help keep the warehouse running smoothly by controlling stock, handling deliveries and dispatches, and working to strict food safety and cold‑chain standards.
Key Duties- Counting and recording stock of raw fish, packaging and finished goods.
- Following correct stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and basic traceability procedures.
- Receiving deliveries, checking quantities, quality and temperatures.
- Booking goods in and moving products to the correct chill/freezer locations.
- Picking, packing, labelling and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading vehicles safely and completing relevant paperwork.
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised and safe.
- Working in chilled and frozen environments using provided PPE.
- Experience in warehouse, stock control or logistics (ideally food or cold‑store).
- Good numeracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work in cold conditions for sustained periods.
- Basic IT skills (e.g. handheld scanners or simple stock systems).
- Reliable, team‑focused and willing to follow procedures.
- £12.85 per hour.
- Stable Monday-Friday hours (no nights).
- Ongoing work with training provided.
- PPE provided for chilled and frozen work areas.
