Stocks and Logistics Operative - Fresh/Frozen Fish Factory

Pay: £12.85 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00 (full‑time, day shift)

We are looking for a Stocks and Logistics Operative to join a busy fresh and frozen fish factory. You'll help keep the warehouse running smoothly by controlling stock, handling deliveries and dispatches, and working to strict food safety and cold‑chain standards.

• Counting and recording stock of raw fish, packaging and finished goods.
• Following correct stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and basic traceability procedures.
• Receiving deliveries, checking quantities, quality and temperatures.
• Booking goods in and moving products to the correct chill/freezer locations.
• Picking, packing, labelling and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading vehicles safely and completing relevant paperwork.
• Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised and safe.
• Working in chilled and frozen environments using provided PPE.

• Experience in warehouse, stock control or logistics (ideally food or cold‑store).
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work in cold conditions for sustained periods.
• Basic IT skills (e.g. handheld scanners or simple stock systems).
• Reliable, team‑focused and willing to follow procedures.

• £12.85 per hour.
• Stable Monday-Friday hours (no nights).
• Ongoing work with training provided.
• PPE provided for chilled and frozen work areas.
