Warehouse Team Leader
£17.50 per hour
NN7, Northampton
Rotational shifts between 07:00am-22:00pm
Any 5 days out of 6 Sunday - Friday
Temporary with potential to be made Permanent after 12 successful weeks

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives to achieve daily KPIs and operational targets.
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities within your allocated department.
- Allocate and prioritise workloads to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards across the warehouse.
- Ensure all processes are followed in line with company SOPs.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and PDA/scanner devices to monitor stock and maintain accuracy.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and correctly.
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
- Lead by example and actively participate in warehouse duties when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
- Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with in a supervisory or Team Leader experience.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Experience using PDA/scanner devices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, organised and process-driven approach.
- Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with in a supervisory or Team Leader experience.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Experience using PDA/scanner devices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, organised and process-driven approach.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and productivity.
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
