FLT​/Labourer

FLT / Labourer Job Description

• Operating forklift trucks safely to load, unload and move materials around the warehouse or yard.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.
• Moving stock, pallets and materials to designated areas.
• Carrying out general labouring duties, including manual handling and keeping work areas clean and organised.
• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch where required.
• Checking deliveries and reporting damaged or missing items.
• Following health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.
• Assisting other warehouse, production or site staff as needed.
• Carrying out routine checks on the FLT and reporting any faults.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.
• Performing other reasonable duties as required by the supervisor or manager.

Key requirements:

• Valid FLT licence/certificate.
• Previous warehouse, yard or labouring experience preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
