Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In Operative to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming stock, ensuring accurate receipt and storage, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

* Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes

* Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse machinery safely to load, unload, and move stock

* Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for stock control and data entry

* Handle materials efficiently, including stacking, storing, and organising stock in designated areas

* Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing orders with attention to detail

* Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing goods for dispatch

* Conduct regular stock counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

* Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when required
