Warehouse Picker Packer – Days
Newburn, Newcastle, NE15
£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6am-2pm / 2pm - 10pm - 2 week rotation
Gi Group is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Picker Packers to join our client's busy operation in Newburn on a day rotation basis.
This is an excellent ongoing temporary opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidates.
- Morning and back shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Shifts may vary in short term)
- Days:
Monday to Friday - Pay: £12.71 per hour - rising to £13.22ph
- Ongoing temporary work with potential for permanent placements
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Using warehouse systems and following pick lists/instructions
- Loading/unloading stock and moving goods within the warehouse
- Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Experience using a handheld scanner is preferred
- Ability to work night shifts on a Sunday-Thursday pattern
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
