Warehouse Porter/Loading Bay
Job Purpose
To ensure all client orders are accurately prepared and processed, liaising with drivers to coordinate collections and returns. The role involves checking returned items, recording and reporting damages, returning props to their correct warehouse locations, and maintaining a tidy and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Check client orders and prepare hired props for collection.
* Unpack and inspect returned items, identifying and reporting any damage.
* Complete damage reports following training.
* Photograph damaged items and upload images to the relevant system.
* Code and label items correctly.
* Check the condition and functionality of working parts.
* Liaise with drivers to ensure items are correctly loaded and unloaded.
* Coordinate with sales staff and the Loss and Damages Department regarding damaged or missing items.
* Return all props to their designated warehouse locations, ensuring displays remain tidy and organised.
* Support the display team as required.
* Maintain general housekeeping and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised.
* Provide general warehouse support and assist colleagues as needed.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
* A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable Skills
* Previous warehouse or stock-handling experience.
* Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment.
* A diligent approach to tasks, with pride in maintaining high standards.
* Willingness to learn new systems and procedures.
Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will be organised, dependable and hands-on, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to take responsibility for their work. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting colleagues and ensuring all items are handled, checked and stored correctly.
Salary £12.71hr x 42.5hrs wk. = £(phone number removed) pa. (Monthly Paid)
Annual Leave = 20 days + 8 bank hols
Workplace pension (after 3 months, if applicable)
Working house: 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
