Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT​/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring RRT/CRT credential, RCP license, and 2+ years of recent critical care experience.

• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential required
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required in CA, if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Candidates must not have any prior adverse licensure actions

• Acute care medical center with Level IV trauma center and Level II intensive care nursery services
• Provides respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s with no set days of the week,
• No call requirements
• Performs basic and critical respiratory care services with ability to work independently and provide delegated supervision
• Administers aerosol and oxygen therapy and maintains patient charts
• Draws arterial blood gases per policy and physician order
• Provides ventilator management for patients
• Assists with department recordkeeping and participates in training and supervision of new employees
• Completes documentation in electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates can only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
