Multi‑Purpose Clerk – Cashier – 1235 Airport Park Blvd., Ukiah, CA 95482

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check stand, memorize PLU codes, order, receive, unload, stock and rotate product; merchandise product and perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect, and log products; trim, wash, wrap produce; stock, rotate, and merchandise; maintain floral area; keep areas and equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, weigh, wrap, label products; stock, rotate, merchandise; provide customer service; take special orders; operate slicers and wrappers; maintain cleanliness.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, prepare, weigh, package, label products; stock, rotate, merchandise baked goods and deli items; take special orders; operate ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers; keep areas clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store; sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas; clean restrooms, break room, office areas, shelving, cases, front‑end equipment, carts, vending machines; clean front of store and parking lot; empty trash; operate janitorial equipment.

Duties Included In All Departments

• Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.
• May operate forklift if authorized and certified.
• May operate baler if authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$16.75 - $25.70

Requirements (Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

Education

High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or additional job experience.

Experience

Six months of related experience.

Other

Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical

Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis; requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
