Social Care Worker - 3 x 18.75 hours per week posts.

As a Social Care Worker your main job is to help older people living in the care home. This post is responsible for leading a team to support vulnerable adults within a residential setting. We are looking for 3 members of staff to join our dynamic team on contracts for day and overnight care and support.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.

You must hold a minimum of SVQ level 2 in Social Care or equivalent (minimum required for registration with SSSC), a commitment to achieve SVQ 3 on Social Care.

Main Duties Include

To administer mediation as prescribed.
Able to take responsibility as a key worker
To support to reablement plans for service users
To contribute to the planning, monitoring and recording of service delivery.
Ability to act as shift lead, with temporary overall responsibility of the care home
