We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our hospitality team. This is a hands-on supervisory role within our hotel, supporting the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, breakfast service, and café. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This position involves a variety of shifts, including breakfast, lunch, and evening dinner service, with occasional café cover when required.
As a key holder, you will be trusted with opening and closing procedures and ensuring the smooth running of the department in the absence of senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, breakfast service, and café.
- Lead, motivate, and assist team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure guests receive a warm, friendly, and professional experience at all times.
- Open and close departments in line with hotel procedures as a designated key holder.
- Assist with staff training, induction, and development.
- Monitor service standards and maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, health and safety, and company policies.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and cash handling procedures.
- Support other departments when required to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, food and beverage, hotel, restaurant, or bar operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
- Flexible approach to working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Personal Licence qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role operates on a rota basis and includes:
- Early breakfast shifts.
- Daytime café and food service shifts.
- Evening and dinner service shifts.
- Weekend and holiday working as required.
