Site Manager

Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a new build housing site in Ulverston on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Site Manager with a strong background in residential new build to secure a long-term position with an established house builder.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
Overseeing the construction of new-build homes from start to completion.
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality across the site.
Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management.
Conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics.
Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
Liaising with the client, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within new house building / residential construction.
SMSTS.
CSCS.
First Aid evant and recent references
Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and drive the programme forward.
A strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
