Occupational Therapist - Ulverston

We're looking for a passionate HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist to join our client s specialist college, supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to develop the skills and confidence they need for adulthood.

Working as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference while delivering person-centred therapy in a supportive educational environment.

• Manage a caseload of young adults with complex needs.
• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Promote independence in daily living, education and self-care.
• Assess and recommend specialist equipment and sensory strategies.
• Train and support education and care teams.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals.

• BSc in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• At least 2 years' post-graduate experience.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Knowledge of sensory integration principles.
• A proactive, collaborative and person-centred approach.
