Salary: £45,000+ per annum.

Hours: 40 hours per week.

Citrus-Lime is a fast-growing SaaS business providing Cloud POS—an end-to-end retail system specifically designed for independent retailers in the Cycle, Equestrian, and Outdoor sectors. Our platform integrates EPOS, Stock Control, Ecommerce, Supplier Data, Payments, Reporting, and more, helping retailers streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and grow sustainably.

We are profitable and financially strong, processing over £750 million in customer revenues annually. Since launching in 2018, we’ve transformed independent Cycle retail in the UK and are now expanding rapidly into Outdoor and Equestrian sectors. Our next phase of growth is international, focusing on the USA, Canada, and Australia.

Our mission is to double our turnover in the next five years, with a strong emphasis on international expansion. As we scale, strong financial control, performance reporting, and commercial insight are critical to supporting our sustainable growth.

We’re looking for a Head of Onboarding to lead our Onboarding team through a 12 month fixed-term contract, covering a pivotal stage of our customers’ journey with Citrus-Lime. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who takes real pride in seeing a project through from first contact to a successful launch.

The Head of Onboarding will manage a team of five, ensuring every customer receives a first‑class experience from the moment they sign up, through implementation, to the successful launch of their project. You’ll be the driving force behind keeping projects on track, ensuring deadlines are met, standards are high, and communication with customers is clear and consistent throughout.

This role requires someone who can balance strong people management with hands‑on project delivery, keeping the team motivated and accountable while personally ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

• Manage the 5 members of the Onboarding team, ensuring high standards of work are carried out and deadlines are consistently met.
• Provide first‑class communication with customers throughout onboarding, from initial engagement through to completion and launch of their project.
• Monitor and enforce project aims, stages, and timescales, stepping in early where projects risk falling behind.
• Own project planning and scheduling documentation, keeping it accurate, current, and accessible to the wider team.
• Coach and support the Onboarding team day‑to‑day, pushing colleagues to deliver quickly and to a high standard.
• Act as an escalation point for onboarding issues, resolving them calmly and effectively to keep projects moving.

• Previous experience managing members of a team.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Project role.
• Prior knowledge of retail businesses.
• A sound grasp of ICT skills, such as using MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Resilient and upbeat attitude.
• A desire to see every job completed quickly and to a high standard, and the ability to push other colleagues to deliver on these goals.

• A keen interest in one or some of the following:
  Cycling, walking, climbing, horse riding, watersports or similar.
• Previous retail experience, especially in the sectors we work with.

• 12 month contract, contracted 40 hours per week.
• Position based in Ulverston, Cumbria.
