Assistant Chef Manager

Salary: £30,000

An Assistant Chef Manager is required to work as part of this new location in Ulverston. You will be working within a small team of 4 people which may grow as the site expands.

Great opportunity to cook fresh food with the benefit of Monday to Friday working hours.

You wil assist the Chef Manager in all aspects of the role and deputise in their absence. It may suit someone stepping up to a more senior role who wishes to develop their career.

Due to the security of this location, you must be able to obtain National Security Clearance.

You are also required to hold a full UK Drving License (min 3 years experience), as driving company vehicles will be required.

• Menu Planning and Execution – assist in creating menus in accordance with the style and customer preferences of the location. Food preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, monitoring wastage and portion control
• Employee Management – train and supervise all colleagues. Provide continual guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to kitchen team.
• Inventory and Cost Control – monitor and manage stock levels
• Customer Relations - Interact with customers to understand their specific catering needs and preferences and maintain an open channel of communication to address any concerns or requirements. Consistently seeking feedback is key to success
